Ben Heck
Ben is president of Change Healthcare Consulting Services and is responsible for overseeing the strategic growth and operations of the group. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of the Technology Enable Services business unit, he has full P&L responsibility for the consulting business including establishing budgets, driving strategic direction and executing to plans. Ben has held leadership roles in all aspects of consulting including practice development, business development, and delivery execution. With more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare as a leader and consultant, Ben has directed and executed a wide range of healthcare IT implementations as leader of the implementation practice. Prior to beginning his consulting career Ben held several IT and Operations leadership positions within health plans.
Experience
- Led successful core and ancillary system implementations for a variety of payer organizations
- Provided support as project executive liaison for an implementation at a 1 million-member federal employee health plan
- Developed Implementation and ICD-10 consulting practices
- Responsible for all aspects of consulting operations

- Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration
- Executive Sponsor for large IT implementations
- 20+ years’ healthcare experience
